The problem is not that the images are out of focus but that the photographer has used too wide an aperture and that the *depth-of-field* is limited as a result so either the face or the fanny is in focus but the other is not. Some phitographers use this effect delibertaely but they make the contrast between the two dramatic. Here, with just slight blurring, it just looks like bad photography.
