Most of the shots are hand-held with a decent DSLR but to get ultimate Clarity you've got to have it on a tripod. If you want to get those incredible shots in low light again I would do it on a tripod not handheld....
I really like this set the angles are great the lighting is very inviting and of course Lena is in my top 10 favorite out of this site she is a cutie...

I wish this set had been even more grainier and had even more green insipid tint. I just love stupid grainy pictures. I also love washed out sets like this which are drab and colourless and which look as though have been shot in a haze of fog. If only this set could have been a even more drab and had even more grain then it would score 100%. I also love sets like this where the models do not become fully naked, the more clothes they keep on the better the set I say. Next time - I say please lets have even more poor lighting, please have even more grain, please have even more colourless pictures with silly green tint, please have even more drab pictures and please keep a lot more clothes on for the entire set. I'm sorry, I like both Lena and the work of Charles, but the choices of colors of clothes and general tones does not go well with Lena's own tones and complexion :-/
This being said, there is a lot of really great shots here, as per what I have come to expect from Charles, always love his play with DoF and I know this site is primarily about the naked body but I have to call out attention to the really sweet portrait shot #26, really liked that one :-)
I don't get why so many people are always talking trash about Charles, sure he makes the odd mistake now and again, but to me the majority of his work seems to be very solid and professional, not to mention judging by how his models express themselves on his photos, with their body language and facial expressions, they always seems to be very comfortable shooting with him, which is an absolute must if you want to take a good picture, let alone an entire set of pictures :-)

Yeah, God forbid a photographer would use the light available to the human eyeball when he could so easily set up a bank of lights and reflectors to give maximum illumination to the specimen...er...model.
In other words, I find Mr. Lightfoot's light lighting touch to be a pleasant change. You get your spotlit sets on a regular basis, and frankly a little variety is reputed to add spice to one's life.
Experiment with enjoying what is presented instead of bellyaching every time Charles has a set posted... you might find that you like it!
I happen to like the Lightfoot, dreamy brightly lit photography, the fact that it is also regularly used on such delicious models such a Lena, makes it all that more special and a change to the everyday and more traditional lighting set ups. 8)
