Bernadette, I do agree that showing body parts as disengaged from the lady entire is unfortunate, if that is what you mean by vignetting.
I very much agree with you about body part closeups, but this set wasn't notably bad in that regard, though. There were only a couple of instances , like #73. What I mean by vignetting is that retro effect, or technique, in painting/photography/film, wherein the outside edges of an image or composition are darkened. It's sort of like a keyhole effect. The clearest example of that here is #90, but it's omnipresent in varying degrees of intensity throughout the set. Image #108 has the least vignetting -- close to none -- which for me made it kind of a relief.
It can be tolerable as a one-off in any given photo, if it's used subtly, but seeing an entire gallery with vignetting in a grid of thumbnails makes it more evident just how oppressive and pointless it is, and how it's (arguably) an easy out to avoid the heavy lifting of artful composition. It detracts from the model, IMO, which is problematic in itself, but even more so it completely destroys any sense of time and place. By being so completely unnatural -- a sort of violation of how the human eye works -- it leans towards fetishization of a medium instead of appreciation of the beauty of the subject matter that the form is presumably meant to capture. I assume that's not what artists who use the technique are aiming for, but who knows?

Seve, please note that I have never in any of my comments suggested or argued that disembodied (odd word in this context, I know) body-part close-up shots should be forbidden. I just personally don't like them, and like everyone else here (e.g. the "Thanks for the heels!!" fellow ) I was just chiming in to register my own view. Strictly a matter of personal preference.
I'm not opposed in any way to images of body parts, I just don't understand the need to focus on them so closely that the model -- her face etc -- is "disappeared." The very high resolution photos available in every set here allows one to readily see any given body part in as much detail as (I would think) one could ever want, so to me the ultra-crotch photos are no different than an ultra-close-up of someone's nut-sack, or whatever. Some people might like it, and clamour for it, while others might think "Huh? You can see it clearly anyway, why is there a need to completely eliminate the rest of the attractive person?"
In the end, it's just different opinions about the ultimate nonproductive leisure activity..

Yes, that's a good illustration. Dana's body parts are plainly evident, but instead of being rendered dormant and clinical by virtue of being visually isolated, they're sprung to life by the beauty they're attached to. In #94, for example, her completed form is an integrated system, aesthetically and...umm, limbically; even if the viewer is focusing on nothing but the juiciest -- loveliest -- body part, seeing the whole picture surrounding it creates a natural, gestural expression of life itself that could not exist in any isolated closeup. That photo (and others) doesn't hide her body parts, it's just that the whole is much greater than the sum of its separate parts, and tells a more beautiful story.
Or to put that in the vernacular, it makes that still very visible body part more arousing.
