Yarina's eyes remind me of Leelee Sobieski.
Numbers shmumbers. I know what I like, and don't need any numbers to quantify that. I rarely pay any attention to them.
While I enjoyed this set a lot, I must question the chosen point of focus in #111. I can appreciate that it was a progression from the previous few, but about the only thing it focuses on is how many hairs Yarina has up her nose.
Yarina - sensational as ever! Almost perfection in fact..
The lovely Yarina A. is fabulous young lady. Her sweet smile is lovely. A real pleasure and joy. Request more
Another missed opportunity for -- THE High HEELS !!
I agree! Perfect legs like hers should always be showcased in heels, and let's add a nicely trimmed bush like some of her other pictorials.
Ohhh, myyyy, that segment from #109 to #112. So intimate, so arousing. Lucky is the person who sees that view in real life.
Checkers, I'm thinking about how being that close puts you within sniffing distance. Add that heavenly scent to the visual delight and you have twice the arousal!
Very hot, sexy model. Overall great photography. Photos 38, 39 and 119 are stunning. Her hair is in the way in quite a few shots. Otherwise a wonderful set.
Lovely girl... as "the girl of the day" rank is already captured by Katie, "Sweet of the day " rank is awarded to Yarina... thanks for beautiful pictures.
Very few sights are as inspirational as a pretty girl in a flirty, ruffly skirt like Yarina's. Which is why I'm so disappointed with Luca for not exploiting the upskirt potential in this set. He gave us two upskirt shots... much more could have been done IMO.
As a card-carrying member of the upskirt enjoyment club, I must agree with you, Fer_. The set is excellent, but the missed opportunity needs to be pointed out to Luca for future reference.
I like ♥Yarinshka♥ with this look like a schoolgirl. She's damned sexy:-) And with a little bit naugthy in Her eyes, She drives me crazy... Adorable♥ ♥ ♥
Pardon, naughtiness in Her eyes:-)
Once again the dart board question? We know from K spanking moi last week that Yarina A WAS a Top Ten when K picked her for today and had her flagged as such. But, by today, she shows as # 18. Of course her 9.23 ties her with #11 through #21 or 11 other models. So once again either tell us HOW you do it, tech geeks, or show us your dartboard. WHY is the ranking method a secret? Inquiring minds want to know. But as CzechMate2 would say, Only the Shadow knows.... Of course as always, that is IMO. And fer_realz IHO knows for sure!
Actually I appreciate every thing all of you have said, the problem is we on see the results of the equation and have a misssing piece of information. I.E. each models total score. the equation is (Total Scoce)/ # of votes = model score shown to two decimals. A model like Michaela Isizzu has 3,333 votes as of today. Lilit A (Tied at 9.24) has only 1.259 to get the same two digit results. In theory the teck nerds know the missing number. Not giving it to us I understand. And they just gave up on us a % with no decimal on each model pages on Beta and reverted to 9.24 as opposed to 92%. So yes they are working on it, but it is insulting to think it would take more than two minutes for them to post a confirmation of all of your and mine questions, but I guess customer understanding and satisfaction wasn't taught in tech schools. And anybody who deals with their techies in their businesses probably is already aware of that! So I remain like my soul mate Mick J and "I Can't get no...."
F - Its the photo finish. A car wins a race by six inches, but you don't see that in the stands. MA has told us that it is a simple average method for the determination. I'm happy with that explanation, though I would love to see a small graph that shows how many voted at what score. We are probably amongst the few that take that kind of attention to details in the scoring. Let's be happy with what we have - at least we got two decimal places back in the beta version.
I get what you're saying, but I think they have to go by averages. Jenya D has been voted on 11,894 times, and she's been around for about 10 years. Sasha Bree has 99 votes so far, and she's been around for about 10 hours. :)
I truly believe that the ratings system is just for show. I don't recommend taking them very seriously. There are doofus members who start voting "1" within minutes of a set being published, just to keep the high rankings of their favorites from being threatened.
MET, I'm sure, uses effective analytical tools to measure the success of models / sets. Zip downloads, page views, image downloads, etc. are all tracked, and are much more reliable indicators.
Addendum - as I look at the top rated models, I see my all-time favorite is in the top ten. Earlier this week, she was higher in the top ten, and last weekend, she was down around #15. And there was no new set to affect any of this. Doesn't really matter, she's still my all-time favorite, and seems to be well-appreciated by my friends and fellow connoisseurs here. :)
Bo Knows but I'm Not Bo and I'm Just as Clear as Mud on any of this. I wish that I or Someone Would Offer Up Some Clarification. swplf2 it may be better to let this lie for awhile but the answer from the wizards is a standard one and I'm pretty sure that it has been asked a few times before. So, no answer is an answer.
Frank - it's not a 'secret.' It's all done automatically by the content management system, as you would expect, and it makes perfect sense to me that (as others have suggested) you only see the first two decimal places but the ranking is based on the entire figure. I asked the technical wizards if they would care to clarify and they said they are really sorry, they are too busy working on the beta site right now.
You're making far too much of this. It's a display issue. They choose to display the first two decimals (probably rounded, perhaps truncated) while using the real, floating point number for sorting.
I've rarely visited the "Top Ranked Models" page. Happily surprised to find lovely Nancy at the top these days.
Having been called out, I feel I must defend my honor. ( ;
No, I do not KNOW anything, only what has been revealed here in comments and in News/the blog.
However, I have taken many math classes and I am familiar with the phenomenon of "rounding." I was certain that as an accountant, so would you be, Frank! ( :
It astounds me that your mind doesn't jump to the same conclusion that mine does, that in the case of these 11 models, their scores ROUND to 9.23... but probably very few of those scores are EXACTLY 9.23.
What would the "common sense" solution be? To rank them according to their UNROUNDED scores. Or is that NOT exactly what an accountant (an accountant who was forced to use ONLY TWO decimal points, that is!) would do?!?
Don't get me wrong, not only do I suck at math, and I am no accountant, but I have kept personal statistics on things such as household spending, budgeting, etc. etc. and if I had to rank 11 things that ROUND to two decimal points, that is exactly what I would do...
Everybody does 95... few does 96... very very few does 97... the difference between 96 and 97 is just one point... yet they call 97 champion... :)))
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Numbers aside, I think Yarina and Anna are the two most attractive ladies currently on Met-Art. That's just my opinion and I don't really care what their "score" is or what anyone else's opinion is. And, that's not to say I don't think there are lots of other very attractive models on the site.
It's why they make so many different flavors of ice cream... you like to taste them all but you always have one or two favorites.
