Hi Big C, I'm not talking about a natural smile that comes out here and there; that's lovely. I'm talking about when the expression on a model's face is the same in every pic...no emotion, no sexy come fuck me look. Look at two sets from April 6 - Maxine and Erika Eden: Maxine has either a tight-lipped grin or a mid smile (the same in all her sets), while Erika has a wide range of looks. What Bat Fastard is saying is the older MetArt galleries were more like Erika's; the models all looked enticing and alluring.
This is my opinion of course; what I like to see.

On an aside, Kilroy, did you ever get a chance to ask any photogs regarding our philosophical question "which comes first, the model or the photographer?"

Right? This is my main critique as well; it's like the model plasters a big grin on her face, lets it set and then says "OK, I'm ready (through her teeth). To be fair, though, fault lies with the photographer not directing the models poses... not the body poses, the face poses, which are the focal point for me.

Yes, the more Photogs the better for a model. There are a few exceptions like Milena D and Nikia (but I think that's by choice). The question is can a newish model like Bella Donna with small portfolio go to any Photog and say "Hey Luca, or Erro or Alex Lynn! I want you to shoot me!" Or does she need to have star power and then the Photog comes to her and she chooses? There are a lot of my faves that I wish had more exposure; I've always wondered which comes first the Photog or the model?
