Beautiful girls. Love the costumes, the posing, and the setting. I'm not one of those that insists all G/G photo sets must be "erotic" as in "faux-lesbianism" (it seems that's the limit of many people's imagination when it comes to eroticism) as there's definitely an art to the dancer-like symmetry on display here... but, geez, what was the ISO setting on the camera? 12,800? It's so grainy that it makes zooming in to look at details painful. It's a terrible waste of what was an otherwise artful set.

This set is a masterpiece. Period. I will never understand why so many members rate daring, outstanding sets like this so low. If all they want is close-up pussy shots there are thousands of sites (and girls, and photographers) out there that will accommodate you. In truth, even this site is far more MET than ART, and when we get one of those rare sets that's actually ART, it gets a 7-something average rating and half the members fly into a tizzy even though they're catered to 95% of the time. Who's really "self-indulgent" here? The photographer that actually believes in the "art" part of the site, or the members that demand that it should be "MET" 100% of the time?

I believe this ties Irina J with Jenya D for second most photo sets across the MA Network. I count 118 for both (counting each pair of EA's "split" sets as 1); though I could certainly be off by a few. Altea B still has a healthy lead with 159, though.

How bizarre... there was a video of Viola released on Mar 22 2015 titled "Adiba" that was removed and replaced with a picture set of Michelle H. Having already downloaded it, I'm guessing it was deleted because it was a masturbation vid, something we never see on MA. Perhaps it was meant to be published on a different MA Network site? Anyone have any info? It would be a shame if the vid just disappeared completely.

Indeed. One of my favorites. Shame there's only 5 sets...

One of the most beautiful sets ever on Met-Art. Looks like yet again most members can't actually appreciate the "Art" side of the site.
Sunday, February 23rd, 2014 on Kawaii
fer_realz, as for your "frustration" with the old shoots, all I can say is that it seems that you (and others) care far more about the "Met" than the "Art" part of "MetArt," whereas for me it's the reverse. While I agree that MetArt has beautiful models, I think beautiful models can be found all over the internet on a variety of sites. For years, what set MA apart was the "Art," the fact that this was gallery-quality erotica, and it's not that any more.
As for "homogeneity," I simply meant the genre has become homogenous, not the individual styles. Just like you can have two filmmakers make a suspense thriller and utilize two different styles, you can have two photographers shooting explicit glam nudes and have different style... but films would get boring if EVERY one was a suspense thriller, regardless of how different the styles were that made them.
Obviously, you and many others welcome this transformation; I'm more indifferent to it. I don't object to the new style, I only object to the monopoly it seems to have now. Ideally, the new and the old would co-exist, but it seems too many customers favor the new style, so those few of us who appreciate the old are likely SOL, except for the once-in-a-blue-moon set like this.
Monday, January 13th, 2014 on Kavarcci
Thanks, swplf2. I agree with you about the "gynecological shoots" and the ratings. As I said once to Jonathan over at SexArt, the difference between art and commerce is often in how much you creatively kowtow to what the commercial demand is. So if the public wants explicit pussy shots, that's what we give them, and if you have distinctive artists like Natasha Schon out there that don't do that, then phase them out. Like I said, I don't think there is a lack of talent in the new style, but I do feel that a greater mixture between the old and new would be preferable. Sometimes in old shoots I'd come across images so stunningly beautiful I'd make them my desktop wallpaper, which I can't imagine doing with images from the modern shoots.
Natasha Schon is one of the best photographers ever on MA, and one of the best erotica photographers in the world today. Those that can't appreciate her talent are really missing out. This is erotica, this is what it looks like. The majority of Met-Art today is not erotica, it's explicit glam nudes. The difference? Erotica is suggestive, it uses light and shade, it works on the imagination, it teases, it's sensual, it emphasizes form, aesthetic, mood, setting; it's the wine dripping down the nipple, the facial close-up half-hidden by hair, the shadows falling down and caressing the body. Explicit glam nudes are... pretty much the opposite. It's flat lighting, with an emphasis on make-up, costume, and model personality.
I'm not really making a judgment on which is better, but I'm trying to elucidate the difference. Met-Art began as an erotica site, it's changed to an explicit glam nude site. This set harkens back to Met-Art's origins, an origin that I appreciate all the more as it seems something lost to the past. As is typical, consumer demand has driven the product into homogeneity. While there are certainly some extremely talented photographers here working in the "new" style (Rylsky, Arkisi, Catherine, etc.), I must admit it's utterly refreshing to see something from the old school.

I couldn't disagree more. Love the soft-focus look that actually tries to do something with light and shade instead of everything always being super-sharp and in-your-face. It's beautiful, evocative, ethereal, rather mysterious, etc. Remember, this site is Met-ART, and part of the "art" part is being somewhat suggestive and imaginative with the imagery, not just shoving a body part in your face in every image. There are plenty of other sites out there that do that, if that's what you want.

I don't have a problem with the lighting and compositions, but the ISO was set WAY too high, at least at 6400, but maybe even over 8000, and the digital noise is just unbearable. Look at the high resolution version of image 9 and look at the whites of her eyes and lips; that level of noise is just unacceptable on a professional level!
I think the problem is that the photographer was trying to shoot in natural light, and when you're working in low natural lighting you either need a tripod, faster lenses or higher ISO settings, and they all have drawbacks; faster lenses usually aren't extremely sharp wide open, and, even if they are, the more you open up a lens, the shallower depth of field you get so it can be hard to get what you want in sharp focus. High ISOs create digital noise (as in this set) and lose sharpness. Tripods can take care of both problems, but then you lose freedom of movement with the camera and your model has to hold still for longer periods (and fractions of a second count in photography).
I usually think it's better just to supply a bit more lighting to enhance whatever is there; that way you can hand-hold at relatively low ISO settings and close down the lens a bit for greater sharpness without losing that "natural" look.

I see lots of debate on this one... personally, I'm all for bringing back some of the old-school, more ARTy MA style which I loved and still love but see far too little of. I can also appreciate the style and direction the site has gone for in the last few years, which seems to favor flatter and brighter lighting, sharper focus, and more explicit poses, but I also miss the days where every now and then I'd see a set that was so gorgeously lit and framed it looked like it could hang in an art museum. I don't understand the members that ONLY want the more modern, explicit, sharp type photos, since you can get such photos at other websites, whereas the more artistic sets were one thing that made MA really stand out in early years. Personally, I'd like to see a mix.

Linux, I think you have some valid points, however, I think there are some valid counter-points to be made as well.
1st - I can sympathize with your preference fir girls that are more charismatic and emotionally engaging, but there is a whole school of modeling built around the aloof, cool, distanced, detached, statuesque style, and Jennifer definitely falls into that style. While I'm generally with you in preferring girls that are more charismatic, I think there are a few models that are gorgeous enough to pull of the "statuesque" style, and Jennifer is one of them (I'd list Jenya D as perhaps the archetypal example).
2nd - This is simply a matter of opinion, but I can't do anything more than flatly disagree... I mean, you say she has a "perfect body and angelic face," yet then say she has nothing that's "unique and outstanding?" Do "perfect bodies and angelic faces" grow on trees where you're from? Because I don't see many of them, even on a site with the quality of MA.
3rd - I think this goes back to what I said about the "statuesque" style of erotic photography. It's not that she's not enjoying it, it's merely a style/persona. It would be like saying that an actor doesn't like acting because they have to cry in a role... and posing is a form of acting. While some girls might try to "be themselves," there are just as many that use photography as a way to express other sides of themselves and not their whole or even normal way of being.
However, I must take exception to your statement that: "All of us know, that girls, which are models there, voluntarily choosed the way of lowest resistance of earning money." I've known many models and the notion that either it's the "lowest resistance of earning money" or that's why they do it is nothing but a common misconception. Most models I know got into it because they were curious to try it, perhaps even seeing it as a way to express themselves. Yes, I'm sure the money is nice, but it's not the only or even primary concern for many.
All this said, I still support your right to express your opinions. If nothing else, at least a little negativity is good for generating discussion. Opposition is the core of drama, after all, and I'm fairly confident that Jennifer knows she's appreciated by many others (especially given her top 10 ranking).

I agree the concept and the model are outstanding. Even the poses are mostly nice. The photography, however, is total crap. Hardly a single image in the entire set is in focus. I'd thought recently the Paromov had gotten his skill back, but this shows he's totally lost it. There are a number of photographers on this site who appear to use point and shoot equipment but they do not understand how auto-focus works. Either that or the're simply incompetent or don't care what they produce. On the other hand, there are several artists here who create beautiful, crisp, properly lit images that are a pleasure to see. Sadly Paromov is no longer among them.

Elucidate all you like. Define as you wish. Write your own dictionary. It won't change this mess. And yes, I think Schon is a great photographer.
solrage, I can understand your hankering back to the old style MA shoot... I disagree, I found them so frustrating... seeing those gorgeous women, seeing them naked, but not being able to see what I want to see, except very rarely and very indistinctly.
What I disagree with you on is the "homogeneity" remark. I don't think you could have fallen further from the actual fact... the photographers that currently contribute have vastly different photographic styles.
Personally I welcome the transformation MA has gone through. I am pretty happy with the way most of the sets are presented nowadays, in contrast to most of the sets in archives (with the exception of the "pioneer" masters Rylsky, Goncharov, Slastyonoff, etc. who blazed the trail of the explicit sets we see nowadays, so to speak).
Saturday, January 11th, 2014 on Kavarcci
IMO solrage you make a very valid point and for me the inclusion of this type of set should continue. I just commented today on a set feeling it showed the style of back when I joined 8 years ago. Why not have a wide variety of different styles. The line on solo sets between Met and Sex is down to where the fingers go. Close or in. Both use what I call gynecological shoots. While a majority may like that I commented yesterday about just how much is necessary. The real problem is the damn ratings. For us to see more sets of IRA, must she now spread the butterfly to get he rating up? If a member doesn't appreciate the "erotic" sets then why even view and then trash with a low vote. Just ignore it. As my Mom used to say. "If you don't have something nice to say, then just keep your mouth shut." Gee a day with only three "good" sets, Let me cry... Great Comment IMHO...
Yes but this photographer should not be encouraged. No contrast! Which is a common problem with most Met photographers.

I too, would like to join RylskyArt, but I won't, because I don't like my models to be water-logged. I didn't down-load Jeff Milton immediately, though she is stunningly beautiful, because she had been doused with water. I changed my mind about her after seeing her second set, where she was photographed totally naturally. She was excited, showed it and that is what makes an average set an absolute stand-out.
My reasoning is this. When a woman is relaxed and comfortable in her surroundings, trusts her photographer and staff, and enjoying the shoot, she will get excited - unless she is totally emotionless. When a model let's nature take over, I know she is happy in her work, that her photographer has treated her as the Princess she is.
So, Mr. Rylsky, perhaps you might like to explain to me your 'Water Fetish', and why so many of your models are subjected to it. I don't think I'll be appreciating 'doused' models any more, but an understanding of your thinking would definitely be a great help.
There is no doubting your ability as a photographer or your artistry in relaxing your models. Now that 'the year of hell' is over, and we're seeing real models, feeling alive, instead of the robots of 2012, you are again, one of my favorite artists.

1st: Solrage, as I'm reading Your reaction, I'm serioulsy sure, that You're very realistic cogitative man. You're really candid and I appreciate that.
2nd: I know, that there are two basic modeling schools. Statuesque and expressive, if they can be named this way. With all my comments I only want to say, that I'm a fan of second one.
3rd: In region, where I'm from are most girls beutiful enough to do any kind of modeling, including photoshooting for Met-Art, but most of them haven't got real feelings and emotions. That's the reason, why I'm so demanding in this aspect.
Yes, You're definitely right, that there are some girls, which are either actually curious and they want to try something new, or they've got sufficient dose of exhibitionism, both as a possible reasons for enter to the world of modeling. But look at the countries, where are the models from. How many of them are from USA, Canada, Australia, Japan or high developed west European countries? Almost none. Why are western girls less active in modeling? It isn't because they aren't pretty enough. It's because in countries, where they're from, they've got much more opportunities to earn enough money for life standard of stratum intermedium. And now imagine the situation in east and middle Europe, where are in comparison with western world 50 - 66 % prices, but earnings are only 20 - 25 % of western salaries. This is the reason, why is the money for most girls from east and middle Europe the main motivation for modeling. Btw., I'm from west Europe, but because of business I live in small country in the middle of Europe for couple of years and I write this based on my first-hand experience.
