It is important to make a portrait series so that the viewer can see each eyelash and feel the breath of the model on himself as if she were kissing him. Make a series of close-ups so that the viewer can smell her body.
Sharpness? It's a shame, but it's not on top of my list of photography requirements.
Check out the photos of Paolo Roversi. One of the trendsetters of fashion photography. I would be very surprised if you can find 9 out of 10 sharp photos. Although he shoots single shots, not 300 for a set of 120 shots. Surprisingly, this does not cause inconvenience or embarrassment to anyone.

While i understand the "not all photos have to be crystal clear" viewpoint - shouldn't we get SOME that are at least clear (not crystal) ? I think for most photos to be EROTIC i need to at least believe the women is real..... ie a little skin texture, etc - when everything BLURRY it is a BAD BAD job by the photog....period.

I don't count stockings as clothes. More like accessories or enhancements, in a similar way as jewellery or make up. That's why I'm perfectly fine with them staying on in nude photography.
Maybe that is also why they resisted the power of all those books?
